Happy Anniversary to me

I just realized with my last post, that yesterday marked the 2 year anniversary of the start of my adventure as 2 step.

And in true sappy anniversary form, i remember it like it was just yesterday. But looking at where i've come from and where i've gone - physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and in any other way possible - I'm really freaking glad it wasn't just yesterday.

I did it. I cut the cord.
I cancelled my cable.
No basic, nuthin'.

As of tomorrow, it is just me and my shadow. No fictional characters to escape with on their islands, in hospitals, while they save the world from terrorists or escape prison.

Now if I can just figure out a way to limit my interweb addiction I might really be on to something. They have 'child-proofing' for computers..how bout 'adult proofing' to reduce the hours of aimless surfing and facebooking? Perhaps an automatic timer that allows a certain amount of internet access per day....

What, self-discipline you say? Bah. Until they find a way to manufacture and put it on a shelf, it just ain't gonna happen.

Atrocious spelling usually makes me cringe -- but when it's in an email from a ridiculously charming surfer boy i made out with (during a depotcherous night of drinking)...it just kinda makes me giggle.
